TOS

1. The listed prices are fixed and no personal discount can be requested.

2. The client must provide me with at least 3-5 reference images of the animal/character to be illustrated, which are well lit, sharp and colourfast. The reference photos should be taken from all sides so that there are no errors in coat colors and patterns.

3. Payment must be made in full immediately after the order is placed. The creation process will only start after receipt of payment.

4. Payment is made either by bank transfer or PayPal.

5. The file is created within 24 hours and sent to the customer for review.

6. The customer has the right to make changes to the order once. If the customer is not satisfied after this correction, there is the possibility of getting the payment back.

7. I reserve the right to cancel or refuse the order at any time if communication with the customer is insufficient, impolite or in any other way makes work difficult.

8. Orders are only communicated via email.

9. As an artist, I assure the customer that I will keep the order up to date. If the customer thinks that a new update is due, they are welcome to ask at any time.

10. I, as the artist and sole copyright owner of each order, reserve the right to use illustrations for my portfolio, social media and website. If it is not desired to publish the order at the time of completion (emotional reasons, planned gift...), this must be communicated to me beforehand.

11. The customer retains the right to the drawn character/animal/human, but may only use the order privately and under no circumstances commercially. If this is disregarded, I will take legal action as the author.

12. The customer may print any type of order as long as it is used exclusively for private purposes (for personal use or as a gift). Of course, the picture can also be posted on the customer's social media. Any kind of image processing or the use of filters is prohibited.

13. If the customer cannot be reached within a period of 3 months, no refund is guaranteed, but the amount paid will be credited. Should this period extend to one year, the order will be forfeited and no refund will be given.

14. The finished job will be uploaded in full quality with a resolution of 300DPI in a custom made Google Drive folder for the client so that the file(s) can be easily downloaded. This folder will be retained for at least 1 year, but after this time I may delete it without comment. As an artist, I am not responsible for paying for lost or subsequently broken files.

15. As an artist, I reserve the right to take a vacation or a day off at any time if necessary. Planned vacations are communicated to the customer in advance. If you do not receive a reply to your email or message within 7 days, please send a follow-up message, as technical errors may result in messages being lost.

16. The customer may not send the order I have completed to other artists for processing or completion. If changes are desired (no matter how long ago the order was made), this must be communicated to me.

Additional terms and conditions for commercial use:

19. The same prices apply for commercial orders as for private ones. In order to use this order commercially, an adjusted usage fee must be paid. This fee is related to the size of the project, the reach (local, national, international) and the intended usage (print, onlineā€¦). I ask for e-mail contact if commercial use is desired.

20. As mentioned in Article 11, as an artist I am the sole author and may also include commercial works in my portfolio after completion. A time delay for this can be set up if desired. If the client publishes the order, I automatically get permission to share the result.

21. With the acquisition of the rights of use, the customer alone is entitled to use the order commercially. If an additional license is required, this must be acquired from the artist. This is still possible even after a long time.

22. My name as an illustrator/designer must also be mentioned in the project as a commercial order.

Why do you illustrate torment breeds?

As someone who is very committed to animal welfare , I speak out clearly and unequivocally against the proliferation of so-called "torture breeding" . Whether it's a Scottish Fold, Bulldog or Aries rabbit, the medical problems these and many other breeds suffer from are unacceptable. But why am I still illustrating some? I know many people who have adopted just such torture breeds and now with the necessary vet visits, surgeries and medication give them a much better life than they would have had otherwise.
I would like to give these people, who love their animals more than anything, the opportunity to have their beloved animal illustrated as well and not to exclude them.
